From 11th April 2011

Some Registered Blind People will be able to claim the Higher rate Mobility componenet of Disability Living Allowance.

However you will have to claim it !!!

There is no automatic increase as you have to meet certain criteria.

If DLA don't ring you in the next few weeks

ring them.
